About Us
Jet Electric was established in Saskatoon in 2008. We are a locally owned and operated company that specializes in commercial, residential, and service work. Jet Electric takes pride in offering our customers the best service possible.
Owner Clint Hounjet entered the trade more than two decades ago and takes great pride in learning different ways to be efficient and cost-effective in his work. We have a solid group of hardworking guys that continually stay up to date with new practices and developments in the industry.
Our Team
Clint Hounjet
President/Owner
Clint Hounjet entered the trade in 2000 and obtained his journeyman’s license in 2006. He started Jet Electric in 2008 along with his wife Kate. He takes great pride in learning different ways to be efficient and cost-effective on projects. He is continually staying up to date with new practices and developments in the industry. Clint’s role at Jet Electric is overseeing project financials, project management, estimating, and manpower as well he oversees all small projects and services.
Kate Hounjet
Office Manager/Owner
Kate started Jet Electric in 2008 along with her husband Clint. Before Jet, Kate was employed at the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. As the company steadily grew after her first maternity leave, she became full time with the company.
Kate’s main role at Jet Electric is office manager. Her day-to-day duties include accounting, safety, payroll, accounts receivable, and payable. As a self-taught bookkeeper this job has been challenging, yet rewarding.
Shaun Timmerman
Project Manager/Owner
Shaun started in the trade in 1998 and he obtained his journeyman’s license in 2003. After working in the trade for several years Shaun joined Jet Electric in 2014 as a supervisor and partner. After running Genivar Engineering’s office renovation and a Wal-Mart Renovation in North Battleford he moved to the office and became a full-time project manager and estimator. Shaun’s role at Jet Electric is bidding and managing design build projects as well as managing major projects.
Greg Miller
Estimator/Owner
Greg joined the Jet Electric Team in June of 2019. He has over 10 years of experience in the electrical industry. Greg has a wide range of experience as an estimator and project manager. As an estimator, Greg is responsible for providing an accurate full-cost estimate of construction projects, including materials and labor, in a timely manner to meet tender closure dates. With Greg’s experience in project management and estimating he is able to provide an accurate and competitive estimate.
